| Interests and Activities |
- Computer Hardware & Software – I have built my own computer and
am a subscriber to PC Plus magazine.
- Scouting – I was a scout leader for 3 years, before university and
designed my first database in Dataease for the scout movement when I was
17. This maintained a record of the Quartermasters
stores. I also designed my first web site
for AVSU.
- Internet Technologies – Since the age of 16 I have been a regular
user of the internet and have a good knowledge of its history as well as
a keen interest in new technologies.
- Music - I love listening to music and have just started to learn the
piano.
- Hill-walking - I have enjoyed walking in the hills for many years
and completed my Chief Scouts Challenge and the Gold D of E Expedition.
- Lighting & Sound - I was the head of my Grammar School tech crew
and provided support for a large number of performances. I
also held a position as a producer for a show on the university radio
station SURE.
- Photography - I own two SLR cameras and have been developing and
printing my own photographs since I was 10.
